While President of Ft. Worth Christian School from 1992-1994, he completed his Texas Superintendent internship with the central office of the Dallas ISD. Even while working in education and industry, he continually served as a part-time youth minister, director of education, and/or worship leader. From 1994 to 2002 he was the Education/Involvement Minister at the Walnut Hill Church of Christ in Dallas. In 2002 he moved to the Saturn Road church in Garland. He has been the director of the North Texas Equipping the Saints Workshop since 1993.
